Nightmare was a small bitty, he wasn't exactly yours, but he hung around your house a lot, usually for food and pampering, before leaving again. Every day was the same thing, but today you couldn't seem to find him. You weren't too worried, as he could've just found somebody else to care for him, but you decided to look anyway.

Then, after a while of searching you saw a small teal eye looking at you with a narrowed, disapproving gaze, from inside a full ink pot, his tendrils flicking ink.
