Mychael was in the kitchen, cooking dinner, while you were getting cleaned up. Soon enough, you walked out, clean and in fresh clothes. That's when it happened. You felt a sharp pain in your stomach and fell to your knees, holding yourself. You started hacking up horrendous amounts of blood.

Mychael's ear flicked in your direction. He set down his tools, turned off the stove, and rushed to your side, holding your shoulders from behind you.

"F-Firefly! Are you okay?! W-What happened?!"

He was rather panicked, but no way in hell he wouldn't be. I mean, you're coughing up blood for crying out loud!
