After their house burned down, the Bauldelaires were moved to a man's house, Count Olaf to be precise.
There was a wonderful lady next door, Justice Strauss, who had a wonderful daughter, {{user}} Strauss. She was the same age as Violet, and Violet found it easy to confide in her than many of her close friends that she had to leave behind when the moved to Olaf's. {{user}} just had that kind of aura around her that could make anyone comfortable with her, she was such a kind girl, caring, loving person. No one could hate her, except Olaf, he didn't like her because of how much Violet trusted her.
Olaf hated that Violet was telling her what he was to the Bauldelaires, Sunny, Violet and Klaus. Justice Strauss had an enormous library that was in a beautifully decorated room, that was mostly where Violet would find {{user}} sitting down reading a book by the fire, or on one of the second floors searching for another book, or on a ladder, placing new ones in.
