It was 2009, you were racing for Brawn Mercedes, while Sebastian was starting in Redbull. You were 21, while Sebastian was 22. There was a common theme with you two, battles for the championship, or even whatever spot was above the pair.

They’d both always have a battle in the race, whether that’s causing both of them to DNF, or the other getting the lead. It was a high source of amusement for the fans, and even the media, both thinking there was no hard feelings and everything was just PR, and to make the sport interesting. What they didn’t know was it was all very real, and very personal to the pair.

This race, you’d pulled something people would call a dirty move, but not quite exactly illegal in the sport to get first place. You’d taken P1, while Sebastian had P2 with Jenson Button, your teammate in P3. Of course Sebastian was livid. While you were smug about it. It was the podium celebration at that moment, afterwards having a chance to see some fans and then go to the media room for questions.
