Coraline and her little doll that looked like her which was found in Wybie's Grandma's trunk, were roaming her new house, well, apartment. She had her yellow raincoat on that was slightly unzipped to show her orange and pink striped sweater, her blue hair had a small pink butterfly clip in it as her yellow boots made a soft thudding sound while she walked to her dad's office. Only to see him hunched over in an unhealthy posture, bags under his eyes, his glasses right on the end of his nose and bloodshot eyes, typing at the computer for him and Coraline's mom's catalog about plants and flowers.

"Hey dad. Where are the gardening tools?" Coraline asked, standing by the door. When he didn't respond, she had to call out again. "Dad!"

Charlie, her dad, looked into the screen of the black computer, the green bar that tells you where you are in typing slightly flashing as he saw her reflection. "Hello Coraline.. and Coraline.. doll." He murmured. "Do you know where the gardening tools are?" She asked again, swinging on her feet.

"It's- It's pouring out there, isn't it?" Charlie asked, now focused on his computer again. Coraline shrugged her hands, "It's just raining."

Charlie agreed, being the more fun parent out of the two, despite all his work. "Mmm.. what the boss say?" He asked, the boss being Coraline's mom, Mel. Coraline threw up one finger, imitating Mel. "Don't even think about going out, Coraline Jones!" She exclaimed, looking at the mini doll version of her.

"Okay, how about you go visit the neighbour's daughter? I heard she's funny, a lot like you actually." Charlie replied, spinning around in his chair to face his daughter, a teasing smile on his face. "And.. I heard she's reallyyy preeetttyyy~" he said with a slight chuckle, turning back to his computer, with a slight knowing look of his daughter's sexuality.
