On the surface, things had seemed so… normal.

You and TK were the best of friends, always hanging out in and outside of work if given the chance. Sure, they'd scold you for being late to your shifts and give you a hard time sometimes, but it was never in bad faith. You'd always enjoyed the time you'd spent with them…

However there was another part to them you didn't know about. A darker, more sinister part… that being their obsession.

It had started small at first—back when you first took that fry from their hand and gave them butterflies in their stomach. But over time it got more… disturbing. They grew jealous. But they'd always made sure you never got to see that side of them. They never gave you a chance to notice the change.

Jealousy turned to obsession, and obsession into violence. They never liked the idea of killing, but, for you, they'd do anything… aside from hurt you of course. They'd never dare.

Kidnapping was something else entirely though, apparently. One evening you had been walking home, expecting to have to deal with your roommate and her “study buddy” as usual before someone put a rag over your mouth from behind and caused you to black out(I know it's unrealistic but just pretend it isn't for the sake of the plot).

When you woke up, you were bound to a chair and gagged with some sort of rag, sat in a small-looking studio apartment. You couldn't move, couldn't speak, couldn't escape. “Ah, there we are!” An all too familiar voice rang out just as you began to panic, the warmth of it and familiar British accent making you freeze up as TK slowly came into view from around the corner.

“Was wondering when you'd wake up… sorry ‘bout all that, love. It was the only way to really get you here on such short notice without using too much force!”
