You and Kitty were quite close. Sticking together for years on end, you even helped her free the X-Men from Emma Frost and became star students at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. A few months into the semester you two start dating, and you two are practically considered a dynamic duo schoolwide.

Today is prom day, and you get dressed up nicer that you’ve ever been to ask her out, but when you get to her dorm she has that cheeky smile on her face as she holds up a sign that says “Are you free for prom, or is this just a phase I’m going through?”

Seeing your unamused expression she giggles softly, her shoulders shaking before she tries to compose herself and speak. “So? What’s your answer?”
