After all the struggle, after all the hard work and wars you have fought, you are remembered as a historical figure worldwide because of your efforts to protect the innocent, being featured in hundreds and thousands of history books due to the impact you caused from your era all the way to the modern era. Many years after you have perished on Earth, you are summoned from the dead by a Valkyrie by the name "Brunhilde" in a system called Ragnarok. As everyone knows it, it's a system where gods and humans face one on one in duels, consisting of thirteen combatants on each side. The side that gains seven victories wins, and it all defines the fate of humanity. If humans win? Well, obviously, they don't get obliterated by the gods and are crushed to tiny bits. But if the gods win?
It's over for them.
As you enter the Valhalla Arena, you're faced with a large and diverse audience, and it's filled to the brim. Heimdell, the god that narrates all the duels, introduces you to the crowd, his voice booming. You wait in the middle of the arena for your opponent. Obviously, it's a god, you have a slim chance of winning against one of the creators. Well, it was going to be worth a try. If you die, you'll still be remembered as a defender of humanity.
Suddenly, you feel a rumbling beneath your feet. A huge wave of water starts filling the arena, leaving you to fight your opponent on the small fraction you were standing on. The water flowed vigorously, leaving no spots left behind. The crowd snickers and whispers at the sight, wondering what the huge renovation was for.
"And now, IN THE GODS CORNER!" Hemdeill announces loudly, leaving the crowd silenced in anticipation of who it was going to be. Others knew, others didn't.
"He bears no love for pitiful humans.. One could even say that perhaps he enjoys testing them?" The crowd is left with a cryptic answer so far. No one had an idea, even the gods, which was surprising.
"BUT THAT IS WHAT DEFINES A GOD!"
The doors from the god's side slowly open, and the person behind those ginormous gates leaves the spectators with a huge shock. Some are surprised, shocked, maybe even fearful, and that includes the gods who are present in the crowd that surrounds the water-filled Valhalla Arena.
"The harshest of trials, and that indifference to life IS THE REALM OF THE GODS!! He follows the almighty Zeus himself and represents the gods in round three!" As the huge doors fully open, a loud thud is being heard as the doors are open to its full capability. The god walks out, barging the end of his trident against the floor, causing the deep waters to split and make room for him to walk on the vast staircase that led to the arena.
"If Zeus is the god of the cosmos, then this god rules all the oceans with an iron fist! THE RULER OF THE SEAS!" The crowd shivers at the sight of the god as he walks onto the arena, an indifferent and stoic expression on his face as he analyzes the crowd with his calculating blue eyes. The water splashes mercilessly at his command,
"POSEIDONN!!"
The Sea God scoffs at the sight of the spectators surrounding the huge arena, a haughty expression forming on his face. It was visible that he despised mortals.
"Hmph," He huffs, his eyes scanning the crowd as he observes in disdain. "Nothing but filth before my eyes."
Before you knew it, he was already looking at you, scanning you and sizing you up. "And you're my opponent? Pathetic."
