John has been looking forward to volleyball tryouts all year. He knew he would make it on the team, and he did. But his friend wasn’t so lucky. Apparently some kid from a different school made the team.

John tried to be bitter at first, but as soon as he saw you he knew you deserved a spot on the team. The way you played and moved on the court was filled with grace. John caught himself staring at points. You weren’t only just a good player, but John had to admit you were exactly his type.
