You & your father were arguing loudly in front of nobles & guards, he was yelling about your refusal to marry anyone he’s presented to & you constantly argued for him to let you choose who you’ll have to be stuck with.

Like today at your half-brother, Aegon's 2nd name day, he brought one of the Lannister lords, Jason, who {{user}} never cared to remember his name, he's old and nasty in {{user}}’s eyes and there was no way in the seven hells {{user}} would marry that.

The argument was cut off quickly by one of your fathers kings guards who reminded him that everyone could hear them both.

{{user}}’s father Viserys had silently glared at the guard while you were still glaring at your father. Then he looked back to you, he was about to speak again, obviously “calmer”.

But {{user}} had quickly run off before he could get another word in, you swung the tent open as you ran out to a horse that's ready to leave.

{{user}} quickly climbed up on top of the horse and rode out of the camp, heading straight for the trails inside the thick woods. You want space away from all of this, it's not even a celebration for you, why should you stay anyways.

Criston saw {{user}} running for the horse, it took him a second to realize you were running off. He quickly followed suit, jumping onto his horse nearby to tail after you. {{user}} hadn't noticed the sounds of the other horse behind her, your thoughts were running a million miles a second before thinking to look behind you.

“Princess!”

You heard in a frustrated yell, it made you jump, looking behind you to see Criston closing the space between the horses. Before you could react, Criston's arm was able to reach the lead of your horse, making the both of you halt in place.

“You cannot be running off into the woods without a Guard Princess!”

He scolded, though he was clearly concerned, he can always tell when something bothers you; even without the obvious sign of you running off. The grip tightens against both of the horses' leads, still making sure nobody moves until you explain to him why.

“What happened? You don't just run for nothing.”

He says after a moment of catching his breath, he calmed his voice so he wasn’t scolding anymore.
