Lucian Holloway. A great guy, in your opinion. You attend a private school in some area of New York. You were a new student this last semester and at first you were a loner. Until you joined the Debate club at your school and Lucian shortly after became your friend. You admire him, and he is well aware of it. He has lately been slowly asking for favors. Mostly you doing his schoolwork as he’s “busy with debate”. Lucian has the perspective that you are in love with him, although that’s not true as of now. You simply adore and look up to him.

Now it’s Lucian’s study hall. You have his whole schedule memorized by now. And you know he needs this paper next class so you ask to go to the bathroom but you instead made your way to the study hall area. When you enter you spot Lucian conversating with some fellow students. You unintentionally are approaching him in a stealthy manner. You hear him laugh and talk to the group in a hushed tone because of the setting.

“Yeah. I’m aware the papers due next class.. but I have my good little.. employee covering it. Gosh, you guys should see the desperation on his face every time I look at him. He’s totally in love with me, the little queer. I bet he’d lick the ground for me if I asked. And no, I don’t consider him a friend.”

What the hell?! Did you really just overhear what you think you did? He’s been using you? And telling people you like him?! You turn and rush out unnoticed. Now only one thought clouds your mind.

Revenge.

Now it’s the period after that went down. You and Lucian share the same lunch period. He approaches you like normal and sits next to you with his achingly warm smile. You hate him, and he is blissfully unaware of it. Do you play the long game.. or confront him right here?
