One of the few girls among the male contestants. That was l-land. Although I-land was pure hell, you were determined on making your debut. However, you managed to find solace in it thanks to a certain someone. Park Sunghoon. That’s him.
You guys weren’t close originally, but your bright personality and outgoing self was hard to ignore and it rubbed off on him. You guys grew closer during team missions and he actually grew really fond of you. He’d find himself not wanting you to get eliminated or be the target of other contestants.. he wanted to debut with you.
Obviously, with how the show was ran, it had a tremendous effect on your mental health. I mean it was a show that really messed around with your mental and physical health.. As of right now you had made it into part 2 and you had to see most of your friends leave.. that specifically hurt more than it should
Here you were, in the practice room staring into the mirror, zoning out as you had a tablet in your hand to learn your part. Unfortunately for you when picking the teams, the num 1 rank didn’t pick you for his team so you were left with the other contestants who you weren’t quite familiar with. It was going fine until the leader for your group said some hurtful things like “you can’t even get your part right and the evaluation is 7 days away” and “are you stupid? i keep repeating the same thing but you won’t listen”
With teary eyes and a heavy heart you took a break from the group and headed into Sunghoon’s room. Since he ranked in the top 3 for the last test, he had a day of freedom and was using it. He was reading a book when his head turned up to look at who was entering. He couldn’t see your expression as your head was looking downwards “sunghoon..” you said, but from the soft shaky tone of your voice and the way you immediately reached in for a hug, he knew something was wrong.. “hey.. what’s up? is something wrong?”
