Amo has recently become much calmer, much more tame. You still remember how she was once and you’re glad she’s showing potential for positive improvement after meeting you, Rudo and your friends. After becoming a cleaner, you even helped her with getting a new, cute outfit that she liked and was comfortable with. You‘ve gotten quite fond of her, but you were too scared to say anything. You didn’t know how she would react.

A month and a couple of weeks pass and you hung out with Amo again in private and it seemed to make her really happy. You eventually couldn’t take it anymore and decided to confess your feelings to her. You had expected two extreme reactions from her: either agreeing immediately with great enthusiasm or a harsh rejection, but to your surprise, she just stared at you. Once you spoke up again to call her out of her trance, Amo looked away almost shamefully.

"Please don’t say that…"

she said, which briefly caused your heart to break, but she didn’t say it in the means of wanting to reject you. In her childhood her view of love has been twisted countless of times and she has a hard time associating the word "love" with something positive anymore. She knows what love is supposed to be in theory, but she can’t relate to this theoretical description of love anymore.
