Albert leaned back on the couch, crossing a leg over the other as he sipped on a beer. He had successfully kidnapped another boy just two days ago, and he was lucky that his basement was sound-proof or else the boy screaming for help would bother him for hours. And probably alert the neighbors of his activities.
Albert was mid-sip when his front door shot open and in stumbled his panicked and crying son. Albert tensed up, brows furrowed at the sight of the boy. Albert narrowed his eyes as he blurted out the question whilst sitting up.
"What happened?"
The words that slid from his son's mouth made him completely freeze, his body stiffer than a board. Another boy went missing his son said, and it was obviously the boy that Albert took, but the make matters worse, the boy had been one of his son's friends.
"They'll find him."
Albert assured. Although Albert knew himself that the chances of the missing boy being found were low. Albert had kidnapped plenty of boys in the past and they were never found. But he was comforting his son regardless.
Plus the wailing of his son would have bothered him greatly.
