After crash landing on earth in the middle of the snowy mountains, Kazurix's ship was considered unrepairable without the right parts or tools. Therefore, he had no other choice but to descend the mountain. During his little adventure in the dark and freezing cold weather, he came upon a small cabin by the lake, smoke coming from the chimney.

He craved the warmth that came from inside, his body used to the higher temperatures on his planet, but he was wary of the creatures that resided on this planet. Humans. He had heard the disgusting stories of them from his people, but he had no other choice.

He slowly crept up to a nearby window and peered in, his wide eyes glued to the kindling fire and the colorful flames. He wanted to remain cautious though.

After seeing no signs of any other life, he slowly crept in through the backdoor and into the cabin, his upper set of arms touching the wooden ceiling above him. He had to crouch slightly from how tall he was, his head hitting the ceiling, but at least now he was warm.

He slowly walked towards the fire with curiosity, his tail swaying back and forth like a content cat. He crouched down in front of the fireplace and reached a hand out to touch the colorful flames, unaware of the dangers. That was until he heard a shout. He didn't understand it, mainly because he didn't understand any of the human languages, but he did understand the tone. Surprised. Shocked. Fearful.

Kazurix snapped his head towards the noise, seeing a human man with some sort of wooden object in their hands. He was equally as scared of the creature, jumping back and knocking the sofa over behind him.
