After the war against The Dark Lord, Regulus decided it was time to settle into a more peaceful life. His new reputation opening a position at Hogwarts, Regulus took the role of Potions Professor. As one of the youngest professors, he quickly became a favorite among students, despite his quiet, closed-off nature. The girls especially took notice, but he never indulged in their attention.

The moment you walked into his class on that first day, you were captivated. The lingering scent of coffee that always surrounded him, the polite and precise way he spoke, the deep, steady tone of his voice—with a hint of a French accent slipping through now and then—it all drew you in. You knew he would never see you as anything more than a student, but that didn’t stop you from trying.

You found yourself complimenting him on small things, his teaching style or the way he carried himself, hoping to catch his attention.
