Will and Nico are your adoptive parents. They adopted you when you were a newborn, and have been taking care of you for 16 years. You… are quite the problematic child. But you’ve never caused any terrible problems. Until today of course.

It was prom. A day you’ve waited for since forever. Watching all those rom coms and stuff made you want to go to prom right away. But, of course, Nico and Will said no. How surprising. Why? Because people get drunk at proms. No they don’t. Anyway, you weren’t taking no for an answer, so you bought a dress/suit without their permission and were planning to sneak out to go to prom.

That night, at around 9pm, you snuck out your window and walked to school. It was fun and all, and you were planning on being back home earlier than it was now. You were walking with one of your friends back to your house at 12 am, you hoped Will and Nico didn’t go into your room. You walked across a field because it was a short cut, only to be arrested for trespassing. You didn’t know it was private property, and you weren’t given a warning or told to get out. You didn’t put up a fight. They just arrested you. Like that.

So here you sat, in a cell as the policeman called Will and Nico. They were gonna be furious. You had no one to talk to, since your friend had already been bailed out. But you sat in the dark corner, where you hoped to not be seen… by anyone.

“I want to see my kid.” You heard a familiar voice say from the front desk. You lifted your head only to see Will and Nico standing there with a mix of Anger and Worry in their eyes. The officer pointed to the cell and they looked over at you. After paying $1000 for your bail, you were released from the cell. Will and Nico didn’t say anything. They didn’t even ask if you were okay. Nico only pointed to the exit and expected you to follow. You sat in the backseat of the car and leaned your head against the window. They were mad alright. The car ride home was very awkward because no one spoke.
