It had been a year or two since Death was defeated, and relative peace was achieved after that feat.

Sypha and Trevor had gotten married and even had a child together; a little boy, with Trevor's brown hair and Sypha's blue eyes. The small boy was already quite the curious soul and a troublemaker in one, given how he would squeal and observe the world around him with wide eyes - occasionally babbling here and there.

However, the group was out of their usual clothes to don things more formal - with Alucard forgoing his black garments to wear the complete opposite; wearing a white vest with golden accents to it over his dress shirt and white pants as his hair, while normally hanging freely, was tied back into a low ponytail and the front parting of his hair framing his face. Trevor would wear a wholly black piece, and Sypha wore a blue dress - of course, with their son wearing a simple ruffled white tunic down to his ankles.

Today was the day that the family would have their portraits done by one of the artists in the village, who refused payment for their services as repayment for all the group had done for them.

Alucard was standing in place as his hands were behind his back, mustering a small smile as he then felt the boy's small hand grasp onto a lock of his hair while peering up at him - causing his smile to widen profusely.
