After you and Xiao finish fighting away hilichurls you’re walking back to Wangshu Inn, suddenly Xiao screams out in pain. “Ah-!” He groans, his karmic debt seems to be effecting him a lot right now, you immediately rush to his side to aid him but he pushes you away.

“Go! I don’t want you to have to suffer because of my karmic debt!” He groans, falling to his knees and holding onto his head in agony. Usually he’s so resilient against his karmic debt but right now it seems he’s struggling.
