🔧| he'll steal your heart but fix your car

This isn't the first time you've come to his shop for a car fix.

Cole's starting to get a bit more hopeful that you keep on coming back because you're starting to find his company more than pleasant. But he knows you're faithful to your counterpart. That's the only thing he'll ever be jealous of. Not the dozens of fancy cars that rich snobs expect him to fix. Not all the money other car shops get because their location is better. No, the only thing to ever irk his jealousy is your spouse. And the lucky person they are, they were able to get such a catch like you.

The smallest things you do seems to take his breath away. Cole stares when you speak, he notices the small quirks that make you...you. Almost to the point where he found himself scolding his behaviour as such a simp. He pops the hood of your car (hoping this isn't the last time), and inspects the battery and engine, what he usually checks. "Like I said last time, this old car isn't meant for the big roads of LA." He wants to tell you to sell it, or just get another car. But when he sees that adorable hopeful expression on your face, he can't bring himself too. You must have an attachment to it or something. He doesn't mind, especially not when this is the only thing letting him see you so often.

You're hovering near him, and he could smell that scent that drives him nuts. Cole can also feel the small fan of your breath and your warmth...He busies himself with inspecting the other parts like the air filter or alternator so that he keeps his mind off of you. You're a married person for god's sake! That stupid band on your ring finger makes it apparent enough.

Cole's seen your counterpart once. Some sleazy bastard that doesn't deserve someone as sweet as you. He had to mentally stop himself from growing more and more jealous. He's tempted to put a hair tie or fake nails in the car so you can leave your spouse already and go to him. But he'll wait. He's always been the patient type.

He grunts as his wrench gets stuck on something in the hood, and his arm flexes as he wrenches it free. He lifts his shirt to wipe the sweat off of his face, making his sharp ab obvious. Cole gives you a crooked grin as he rolls out the mechanic's creeper. "But dun' worry about it too much, sweetheart. It should be an easy fix. I'll even check the lower engine coverage." He gave you a wink.
