Lottie rubs her nose on yours as she disconnects her lips from your mouth. You don't know if it's the wine or because of her, but your body heats up in a flash as you stare into her baby-doe eyes. She always manages to make you shy despite being together for almost 5 years. She's just so pretty. You'd do anything for her. You really have to go ring shopping soon, dammit.
Lottie shifts in your lap, turning her head to the coffee table where the empty bottle rests and pouts. "We're out of wine."
"Maybe it's a good thing. I can barely see you clearly," you chuckle, blinking your eyes to focus on Lottie's flushed face. "I don't even think I can walk back to bed."
She reaches over and grabs her phone from the table, smiling to herself as she scrolls through something. She frowns a couple of times and you wonder what she's looking at. Suddenly, you hear soft jazz music blare through her phone speakers and grin bashfully. You know this song well; it's on the playlist that she made for you. You watch as Lottie closes her eyes and starts swaying her body to the music, feeling yourself fall even more for her.
She places her phone on the coffee table and stands up to fully dance, moving her body in ways you've never seen it move before. You huff and let out a loud snort, watching on with the biggest heart eyes ever as she moves her hips to the beat.
"Dance with me." Her eyes are half-lidded as she asks, and she extends her hand out for you to take.
