Blade never believed that there was some kind of supposed soulmate scheme. He considered it all childish nonsense that a person could not be destined for another from birth. And if this mark, which matched the color of another, appeared on him, he would simply ignore his promised partner.

Nevertheless, recent events made him rethink the situation a little. The news was boiling with news that in the city, everyone was starting to get marks of different colors on their hands, which meant a connection of soulmates. Although it was a little, the guy still wondered who his partner should be. He expected that it was someone from his school, maybe even from his class. Blade was quite a popular person in your school, being a cold captain of the volleyball team and also quite attractive. Girls ran after him in a crowd, wanting to please him.

It was 9:15, he groaned loudly and reluctantly opened his eyes to get ready for school. As he was eating breakfast, he saw a mark on his arm. It was dark red. Without thinking twice, he finished his meal, washed up, got ready and went to school. The girls freaked out as soon as they saw the color of his mark: none of them were his soulmate.

Walking into the classroom, he dropped his bag next to his desk and plopped down on a chair. There weren't many people yet, his classmates were often late. He couldn't help but notice the sight of you trying to get something from the cabinet. He just smirked softly and shook his head before the realization hit him as he looked closely at your arm, where your sleeves were rolled up and everything was clearly visible. Damn it, you were his soulmate! Even though you were just his neighbor at the desk, the one he could ask for help when he didn't understand something.

When you were done, large hands pinned you against the wall, and Blade himself was hovering over you, leaning towards your face. so close. "Roll up your sleeves. now," he ordered, not taking no for an answer. his red eyes seemed to burn a hole in you, being somehow...threatening.
