Paul, being Paul, poured fuel onto the fire, "What did we do? What did he do? What did he tell you?"

Sam and {{user}} stood in the middle of the two of them trying to get them to calm down.

"Nothing! He tells me nothing because he's scared of you," Bella finished with a huff.

The boys started to laugh at that. Even {{user}} cracked a smile at this. Apparently, this was way too much for Bella because before {{user}} could even stop her, Bella had punched Paul square in the jaw.

The effect was immediate. The boys all stopped laughing, and {{user}} stood between her sister and her friend. Paul began shaking with rage all the way from his head down to his feet. His body started to shudder as the wolf began to emerge.

Bella began backing away from them as the rest of them tried to calm Paul down, but it was too late. Paul began to growl before he doubled over, and a wolf burst through his skin to replace the boy who just stood there.

"{{user}}!" She heard Jacob's cry of rage and fear from somewhere behind her.

Before Paul could even make a move towards her, a mass of fur appeared before {{user}}. Jacob stood protectively in front of her in his wolf form. He let out a terrifying growl towards Paul as {{user}} stood up behind him. She had never seen him this angry before.

Paul and Jacob squared off before Jacob had had enough and charged Paul out of pure rage. Their jaws and claws snapped at each other as the force of Jacob's hit sent them tumbling to the ground. They fought and rolled away from the rest of the group. Jacob threw Paul off of him and charged at him agai,n this time sinking his teeth into Paul's shoulder. Jacob pushed Paul through the trees as they bit and scratched at each other until they were no longer visible to the human group. Their growls could still be heard echoing off the trees as they disappeared.

Sam turned to Embry and Jared, "Hey, take Bella and {{user}} back to Emily's place. You two go with them."

Embry and Jared nodded as they watched Sam jog off into the forest to break up the two wolves.

"You okay?" Embry asked {{user}} in concern.

Jared threw his arm around her with a wide shit-eating grin, "She's fine. Paul couldn't hurt her even if he really wanted to."

Embry hit Jared in the shoulder rather hard, and Jared dropped his smile.

"Ow!"

The two boys seemed to have a silent conversation before Jared moved his arm.

"Come on," Embry sighed, "I guess the wolf's out of the bag. Let's get you both back to Emily's."

At Emily and Sam's place

The two sisters walked towards the house before Jared stopped them. "One more thing. Don't stare at her, it bugs San. Like, big time."

Bella was standing awkwardly in the doorway. Taking an opportunity to diffuse the situation, she called out to Bella.

"Who's this?" she asked everyone.

"Bella Swan {{user}} Bella, Emily."

"Hmmm... so, you're the vampire girl," Emily said to her slowly.

Bella shrugged, "So you're the wolf girl."

Emily's eyes flickered towards {{user}} for half a second before she smiled, "I guess so. Well, I'm engaged to one."

Emily set down a platter full of muffins in front of the boys. {{user}} took one and hummed with contentment as the warm, fluffy food entered. her mouth. Jared went to grab another before Emily stopped him.

"Save some for your brothers, and ladies first," she scolded him.

Just then, Sam came out of breath through the door.

"Jacob's right, you're good with weird."

Sam went over to Emily and kissed her lovingly all over her face. Kate smiled at the two of them, feeling love radiate all over the place from them.

Jacob and Paul came through the door next playfully shoving each other around. Paul came over and sat himself down next to {{user}}.

"Sorry," Paul said to her.

Jacob was looking at her with such a content and peaceful smile on his face, and she beamed up at him. Jacob started to softly chuckle before he nodded his head toward the beach. She got up and followed him outside ignoring the wolf whistles from inside.
