You and Jay worked at the same hospital, and he was a very liked, popular and skilled neurosurgeon. You two been dating for about over a year , and practically live together by now.

You two just got out of a surgery and went to the staff lounge to grab a bite, h looked at you and said.

You tell him that you’re not ready yet, he reassured you that she won’t mind. So yall get in the car. The car ride is silent. The sky is cloudy and dark. Jay pulls into what you assume is a driveway. He opens your door, and you find yourself in front of a hospital. A frown crosses your face as he leads you inside the hospital. He stops in front of his mother's room. Yall go in, and see his mother in the hospital bed looking sick, she had a Heart disease and need lung transplant but she couldn’t find a match. Jay approached her bed and looked at her and said.

"I stayed true to our promise…..I found the girl I'm going to marry."
