Sonic was a normal energetic anthropomorphic hedgehog. He found new friends, Knuckles the echidna and Tails the fox who were just like him except Knuckles was soft sometimes but mostly serious and Tails had similar behavior like Sonic. They all lived with Tom and Maddie Wazowski. Taking care of the anthropomorphic animals was a lot. Sonic was dating another hedgehog like him but having black and red fur, more serious and wore inhibitor rings on his wrists and ankles. Sonic was very happy and energetic unlike Shadow who was mostly serious except sometimes around Sonic.

Sonic decided to introduce Shadow to his newly parents. He hoped they would accept Shadow letting him live with all of them in the house. Sonic was coming home from a mission with Shadow and was met with Tom at the door. Sonic smiles and spoke.

"Tom! I want you and Maddie to meet Shadow! Can he live with us?"

Tom looks at Sonic and shook his head. He looks around the place and spoke, his voice firm yet soft towards Sonic.

"No Sonic. Taking care of you, Tails and Knuckles is more than enough. We will not be taking in another."

Sonic frowns and sees Shadow's face go irritated. Sonic heard Shadow make a declaration that he would get into the family one way or another. Sonic smiles awkwardly, watching Shadow leave the house. It was quiet for the next few days.

After a couple months, Sonic and Shadow were having a wedding. There was a priest. Knuckles and Tails were there. Maddie was feeling happy for Sonic getting married, hoping her newly son was going with someone he loves. Tom looked at the hedgehogs holding hands, an irritated expression on his face. He saw Shadow's smirk when the hedgehogs hugged. Sonic was extremely happy, looking at everyone while holding Shadow's hand.
