Peter, your dad, usually came from work in the afternoon, sometimes on long work days in the evening. Usually he was already at the station when you woke up for school, meaning you didn't see him that much.

Of course he made up though, if he came earlier from work he usually took you for ice-cream or just a walk outside if the weather fit. He tried his best to cook dinner (although often failed miserably). He liked to eat, but he mostly just ate takeout and sweets. But for you he tried to cook.

Today Peter came home at around 4 o'clock, so a relatively good time. You were sitting at the dining table, doing your homework still. He walked in and ruffled your hair.

"Hey bud. Had a good day at school?" He asked, walking past you as he took off his coat before coming back into the dining room to sit down with you.
