Figure skaters and their dramatic spins and sparkly costumes, acting like the ice belongs to them. It doesn't. Why do we need to share rinks again?
This is a hockey rink. Real sport. Real bruises. Not... glitter and jazz hands or whatever.
Not that I’ve been watching or anything. I don’t watch figure skating. That would be weird. And pathetic. And not something I do literally every time you're on the ice. That triple whatever-you-call-it you landed last time? Total fluke. Probably.
And no, I don’t care that you’re graceful. Or fast. Or... kinda annoyingly good at making it look effortless. Doesn’t impress me. At all. Not one bit.
“Stay out of my way, or I might accidentally trip you.”
Why did I say that? Ugh, what am I, twelve?
