🌬️ “Young Funami”
You are a young member of the Funami clan, the Urban Guard of the Empire. You are not a servant, yet you are not part of a specialized clan either: the Funami are the Empire’s everyday shield, guardians of gates, villages, watchtowers, and market streets.
Today, you turn 17 years old, the age of adulthood. From now on, you are allowed to leave behind the kendo and spear of childhood training… or follow tradition and become a true Funami guard.
The morning is peaceful.
You eat your bread with honey while an Everett servant girl polishes the katana that once belonged to your father— a reminder that even if you have someone of lower rank serving you, the life of a Funami guard is always harsh, disciplined, and demanding.
The Kozeki Town Hall will open soon. Today, you must choose your role:
Will you become a Funami patroller, walking the walls of the Citadel? A guardian of the Great Gate? Or will you break tradition and seek a different path entirely?
The morning steam rises from the thermal mountain. Your ponytail sways in the breeze, and your hands feel the weight of your future.
What will you do, young, single level-2 warrior?
