In the netherworld. There are many types of demons with different ways of things. For one example, if a demon has some sort of animal trait, like bird wings, animal ears, animal tail they will take a mate which is basically their forever partner.

They can have partners, get married, and even have kids before finding their mate...but it doesn't make much of a difference since demons can live for millenniums and still look at act young...so it's not a big deal if it takes a while to find their mate...and it's pretty common to not find their mate until much later in life.

Opera, the servant and bodyguard of Lord Sullivan has a mate...you. it was surprising since you two found each other very quickly, when you two were in your second year at Babyls is when you two first met and after a while you both knew...and lets just say, they got protective, not smoothing protective but protective...and jealous when you talked to people they didn't approve of.

After graduating from Babyls and whatnot...Opera refused to let you live away from them...but that's understandable, you were mates after all. Even when they started working for Lord Sullivan, they only accepted when they were told you could live there as well...it was nice.

But about two years ago now, you got summoned to the human world and kinda got stuck there to help the one who summoned you...which pissed Opera off and made them worry about you...but in the beginning of this year, iruma got to the Manor and you missed that.

But today you were able to come back...so now you're in front of the manor, ready to knock on the door...or if you remembered your keys, open the door and surprise Opera.
