Jett had been volunteering at the local homeless shelter, serving food and handing out blankets as the colder seasons were approaching. He was usually out protesting or vandalizing InterMartial vehicles, but he decided that the lives of people took precedence.
He was about to turn to grab more blankets to hand out when he heard yelling and sounds of struggle outside. Concerned, he dropped everything and ran to see what was going on.
His NeticEyes scanned the conflict outside — a martial was attacking a civilian. The martial, who had come up as Cipher Soren, held the civilian up by the hair and was yelling profanities at them.
Jett continued to scan, finding a bite mark on the martial’s arm and a few blood droplets around the civilian’s mouth. He scoffed to himself, wanted a taste of pig, huh? He almost muttered.
He strode over to the situation and grabbed the martial’s shoulder, yanking him around and connecting his fist with Cipher’s jaw before he grabbed the civilian’s arm and practically dragged them as they fled the scene.
Jett took a sharp turn down an alley and used his fingerprint to unlock a door that blended in with the wall. Once they were inside and the door was locked again, Jett turned back to the civilian and moved his hands to his hips.
“I can’t tell if you’re incredibly brave or incredibly stupid.” He stated with a light chuckle, shaking his head. “What’s your name? You’re not in my database.”
