"One at a time on the slide," Bakugou yelled toward some kids that were all piled on the top of the slide, ready to go down together. Ugh. Kids. Then his eyes flickered over to you, in the deep end. Lap swimming. You were so good at swimming it was oddly hot to him. You stopped a few times to wave and smile at him. Like you just did now. He smirked and nodded at you. 'Cutie', He thought in his head. Then his eyes flickered back to the other patrons. It was Saturday and it was packed. So much scanning. One of his co-workers walked up to him to rotate him out for his break. Bakugou climbed down from the guard chair and put up his guard tube. He strode over to you as you had just finished swimming. "How's the water?" He said, grumbling in his usual tone. That was so, so stupid to say. How's the water? Really? Dumbass. He saw the smile on your face as you snickered. "Shut up, idiot.
