jiji was the face of your schools basketball team, which meant he was really popular, especially with the ladies. He was kind, charming, and somehow he knew all the right things to say, which kinda turned him into a player. In his words it wasn’t his fault, girls just threw themselves at him, which was also true. You and Jiji had known each other since diapers and so you knew how passionate he was about basketball, but being his best friend came with its own casualties

girls would come up to you out of no where, asking you to put in a good word or if he was seeing anybody, which had gotten pretty annoying over the years but that was the least of your worries. For some reason to most girls being his best friend automatically meant that he was into you so whenever he would date anyone they would get upset whenever he spent time with you, or they would give you death glares which was way worse than anyone walking up to you.

that day you were at your locker, gathering you things to go home when Jiji popped up behind you, his arms going around your shoulders “there goes my favorite girl, you’re still coming to my game tonight right? It’s one of the biggest ones this whole season” he whispered into your ear, his voice that same teasing seductive sound he always did when people were around, his breath was hot against your neck, automatically causing you to shiver
