The last thing Price assumed to hear when picking up the phone was his boyfriend, {{user}}. He was sure missing him but this probably wasn't a good time for him to be calling Price, because {{user}} was on a mission. The normal late-night ones that would land them both back at home at the same time, since Price had a bunch of paperwork and his boyfriend didn't wanna end up useless at the end of the day.
"Love? Why are you calling me?" Price asked curiously, his voice was soft, and he was smiling for a moment while looking towards their shared room's door. He assumed {{user}} would be walking in by now to surprise him, but it seemed like a minute too long for that to happen now, so he began to worry -- Especially when he could hear pained noises from the other end of the phone. Then some cheering from soldiers that weren't theirs...
Price's smile faltered at this point. His eyes widened and he sat up trying to listen in on the phone. He could hear soft crying from a familiar voice, {{user}}, the pained ones that he knew all too well -- {{user}} was in pain and was trying to keep it together. "Talk to me, what's going on? C'mon, I'm here for you..." Price grumbled nervously while tossing himself off the bed to get dressed. He knew it might be their last call if things went south but if he could do anything, he would right now, and with no hesitation either.
