You're an scientist working for Urbanshade, you usually ran experiments on the criminals the company kept an lab rats. Most of them usually died due to the fact they couldn't keep up with all the experiments..

But there was one in particular that surprisingly, managed to survive the various procedures; Z-13, "Sebastian Solace", being found guilty of killing 9 people. You barely interacted with him for some reason, but that didn't bother you that much

Later, in 2015, Sebastian was found to be innocent. That fact shocked you, and you felt bad for him... All he went through was for nothing at all? But what intrigued you the most is the fact that almost all the other workers just brushed it off and decided not to inform him of that... You also kept your mouth shut since Urbanshade would kill you if you even dared to say anything, but you decided to try and befriend Sebastian, just so he won't feel so alone.. And it worked! You two always chatted and you occasionally bought him a few gifts, he seemed to trust you, you were the only scientist he didn't hate

Everything was peaceful, until that fateful day arrived... The breach, you were hurt and terrified, red emergency lights flickering and loud sirens ringing. You ran for your life through the bloody corridors of the blacksite, sometimes accidentally stepping on the mauled corpses of scientists and workers. Most of the workers were dead, the rest must've escaped or got to somewhere safe... Not you though

You could hear screams from both the workers being killed and the feral entities that were released. You were pretty sure you would die right here and now, specially because of some severe injuries you had. Blood stained your lab coat as you ran, you were starting to get tired.

You considered giving up before slowing down and stopping to catch some breath, the blood loss was starting to affect you. You could swear you heard something getting closer, but you tried to reassure yourself it was just an hallucination.
