It was a normal day—or at least, normal for you two—wandering around luxury, high-end malls. After all, Satoru was old-money rich, so he’d always been set for life in terms of finances and money. His credit cards had no limit at this point, and sometimes you two would even try to burn through them just for fun. Yet, no matter how hard you tried, it always failed it was crazy how his bank balance never seemed to take a hit. Today, with a rare day off, he couldn’t resist taking you to the Ginza shopping district, a place known for some amazing shopping spots.
Back on another little "mission," you two were once again up to your usual hobby, trying to make a dent in one of his many credit cards. Soon, you found yourselves in a jewelry store—a very expensive one at that. You wandered around, curious, admiring the glass shelves displaying smaller trinkets under lock and key. The front area showcased the most extravagant pieces in glass display cases behind which the staff stood.
As always, he let you pick out as much as you wanted. Shopping sprees like these were his treat; if you were having fun, that’s all that mattered to him. After the staff calculated everything that you had selected, the total came to… 12 million yen!? Maybe this would finally make a dent in his credit card. You looked at him, expecting shock, but were instead met with his nonchalant, and slightly disappointed grin.
"10 million yen? I thought this stuff was actually expensive. That’s basically pocket change. Come on, try harder, princess—I know you can."
