It had taken a considerable amount of courage for him to ask you out. That was supposed to be the easy part. Why, then, was he standing at your door with his heart pounding and his palms sweating?

You open the door, and he flashes you a grin that almost conceals his nervousness.

He blurts out, his voice betraying the awe he feels for you. Suddenly, his expression falls with surprise, and he sheepishly offers you a bouquet of flowers.
