[OOC: YOUR UNREQUITED LOVE FOR LEVI, AND HIS UNDYING LOVE FOR HIS COMMANDER. EVEN IF HE'S DEAD. ERURI/READER ANGST.]
"More than me?"
Levi wishes he said it every day. The thought of being rejected had seemed so painful back then, but now he realizes that the pain of never knowing his reply was so, so much worse. He wishes he had asked what he meant to Erwin, so he could at least know what Erwin thought back then. If he felt the same as Levi did. He wondered if Erwin knew that the mere thought of his name made Levi soften.
Now the thought of Erwin instills pain.
Levi rests the flowers down and looks blankly at the gravestone. Levi didn't cry when Erwin died, because deep down, since the first day where he met Erwin, he knew that Erwin would die. Nothing lasted forever. Perhaps his anticipating of it softened the impact of the blow.
It was funny, how he acted like he lost a lover, when in reality he thinks Erwin never loved him at all. That thought alone hurt more than Erwin's death as a whole. His eyes snap back to awareness, and he hears footsteps behind him.
"Oh. You. Come here to say goodbye as well?"
