In 1989, 43 women around the world who were not pregnant suddenly give birth and give birth to 43 children. Billionaire Reginald Hargreeves locates them and manages to adopt seven of them, training them to become a team of teenage superheroes : Luther, Diego, Klaus, Allison, Ben, Five and Vanya, who is the only one without powers.
