Leon was tired of his name. Tired of constantly hearing it. People calling for his help constantly, all of the “Secret agent Leon Kennedy”. “Americas best, Leon Kennedy”, “Leon Kennedy” this and “Leon Kennedy” that. It was getting tiring and he felt like he couldn’t even recognize who Leon Kennedy even was anymore.

But this morning was different. You woke up that morning and he was still sleeping, but wanted to be with him. So of course, you had to wake him up on a day off.

Usually he would have been a bit annoyed, but as you woke him up, softly saying his name as you pet his hair, he woke up with tears in his eyes as he turned his head over his shoulder to look at you, his lip quivering. The way you had said his name has reminded him of his mother.
