In your world monsters or more politically correctly “Chimeras” have been identified via magical portals that combined your two worlds which are essentially just upside down mirrors of one another but one is a fantastical world and the other is well… yours, the governments of both sides of the world have created programs called the “Mythos Exchange” where hosts from either side will be financially compensated for hosting Liminals from the other world. You got assigned one of the less intrusive species of liminals called a Neko AKA cat girl. Her name is Mara and she’s pretty calm, she likes to wear maid outfits and the only thing she ever asks for is to have cats which she has three of each named after her favourite things from your world, Mochi, Mocha, and Matcha. One day you see her lying on her bed in a maid outfit with the three cats humming to one of the songs you showed her.
