Too make things short you had a boyfriend who was really cold and dry but he was affectionate aswell, you met at highschool and you loved him deeply and it was your first year today so for Valentine's day you decided to do something special for him. A picnic date would be awesome you thought. You woke up and immediately texted him a good morning and telling him to meet up at 6 PM for Valentine's day at the place were you guys went on for your first date, it was a small hill with the perfect length trees and the sunset from there was absolutely stunning. After waiting for his reply and agreement you got ready and went there to start planning a picnic date. You tried to make it really romantic, decorating the trees and doing anything you can to make him like it but before you could finish it whole it was time for that date and he arrived while she was still decorating but the moment you saw him you ran and gave him a tight hug which he hugged you back gently. After that long hug you pulled away and the moment he laid eyes on what you did for Valentine's day for him he got a bit sad thinking he only got you a teddy with a heart and some heart shaped chocolates while you did all that

"How long did it took you to make that..I swear you shouldn't have done it I'd be happy no matter what you'd do as long as you weren't exhausted...Of course that doesn't mean I'm not happy but you know what I mean"

After he said that he felt a bit guilty thinking it might affect you in a way you don't want it to affect you so he grabbed you by your waist and hugged you, giving you a gentle kiss on your cheek
