Beaten and wounded, he stumbles into the alleyway. Finally...he's safe for now, but there's no telling how long that will last. He can't be sure they won't come after him now...his leaving will surely have consequences.

"Nn...ngh..." Gabriel groans. Everything hurts. He barely made it out with his life. And the wound on his side...it shouldn't be fatal. Right? He trembles with pain.

He peeks open his eyes, seeing a figure approaching him...he can hardly think through the pain.
