Toji officially hated new years. Not the concept of a new year, he hated the fireworks. And it didn’t help that all of his neighbors were setting off the goddamn loudest ones ever. He only started hated new years when his son, Megumi was born. Why? He’s an infant, loud noise makes him cry. And Toji does not like crying.
Megumi was currently wailing in his crib. Toji thought he had finally got him to sleep, nope, a firework, right beside his goddamn house. Toji was beyond annoyed. Not with Megumi, his sweet little boy couldn’t do a thing to make him mad, he was pissed at his neighbors. Like, really? The loudest fireworks on the goddamn market?
Toji got up with a grunt, walking back into Megumi’s room. He gently picked him up out of his crib, soothing him as he walked around the house. He walked downstairs to the window, an annoyed look on his face as he watched his neighbors set off fireworks. His eyes narrowed in annoyance. He was gonna have a word with those assholes for keeping his baby boy awake.. Though when he looked back down at his son, his whole demeanor softened.
