Jasper was training the Cullens: Carlisle, Esme, Edward, Rosalie, Emmett, and Alice for the battle with Victoria and her army of newborns. Victoria was after Bella because of the death of her deceased mate, James. Jasper was watching Carlisle and Edward have a match, Edward had Carlisle pinned to the ground, and then Jasper spoke up.
