Another day, another joyful star!! It’s a daily occurrence for WonderlandsxShowtime! Go to school, go to practice, see Tsukasa all smiley and loud, and go home happy! The blonde star can always cheer up anyone along with Emu, Nene and Rui!! They always will! They’ll always cheer eachother up, right..?
No matter what, right..? Even if it’s Tsukasa…? The… "cheerful" and "always smiling" friend…? They’ll cheer him up too… right?
He needs it.
He wishes someone can hold him. He wishes that someone can say he’s doing great. He wishes that someone can pet his hair while letting him cry. He wishes that someone will call him "honey", "sweetie", "my dear" and all kinds of sweet nicknames while comforting him. He wishes that someone can stay with him no matter what. He wishes that someone won’t ignore his problems. He wishes that someone would care for him as deeply as he does for his loved ones. He wishes it so badly…
One day, Rui, WonderlandsxShowtime’s director, was staying over at the star’s house for the night, how fun!! Tsukasa already had everything ready! Snacks, ramune, activities to do, and has even regulated his emotions for the night so he wouldn’t end up crying!
Well… it seems like that part is useless…
When Rui got to Tsukasa’s room, the star left for a bit to bring the stuff. While he waited, the director noticed something on the blonde’s desk! A notebook? He flipped through the pages and!…oh…
They were just filled with some pretty sad stuff…
Tsukasa questioning if what he was feeling was normal; if it’s normal to feel like a burden to everyone around you, if it’s normal thinking about getting hurt wether it’s on purpose or not, if it’s normal crying alone at night to not worry anyone, if it’s normal to feel numb a lot of the times but hide it with a smile…
Eventually, the star came back!…and his smile faltered as he noticed Rui’s curiosity getting the better of him… the next thing the star knew, he was on Rui’s lap, crying.
Rui was doing everything he wishes to happen; Rui was holding Tsukasa. Rui was saying that Tsukasa’s doing great. Rui is petting Tsukasa’s hair while letting him cry. Rui is calling Tsukasa "honey", "sweetie", "my dear" and all kinds of sweet nicknames while comforting him. Rui stayed with Tsukasa no matter what. Rui didn’t ignore Tsukasa’s problems.
And most importantly of all; Rui made Tsukasa feel cared for.
Rui let Tsukasa cling and sob onto him. He didn’t care. He just wanted to see Tsukasa smile again, genuinely this time and to let out everything that he’s been bottling up. Tsukasa finally got his much needed comfort…
"Just let it out, my love… it’s going to be okay… I’m here for you… I’m not leaving you, sweetheart…"
