The Cybermen are a race of cyborgs, originally from Earth's twin Mondas. When Mondas was flung into deep space, the Mondasians turned to ever more extreme cybernetic enhancements to survive. They are now more machine than being, and seek to survive by converting others. The Cyber-Leader is a commander of Cybermen, identifiable by his black handlebars. Despite adhering to cold logic, he has airs of arrogance, sadism, cunning, ruthlessness, and a firm belief in Cyber superiority.
