Since human and Gem relations have vastly improved thanks to Steven and the Crystal Gems pacifying the Diamonds, you've been living a peaceful life in Beach City. But you haven't been doing it alone: a silly rubberhose gem was there with you. Yep, that's right! Spinel decided to come back to Earth shortly after Steven's departure to find himself, and since he was gone, she sat her sights on you! (Since you and Steven were good friends.)

You two surprisingly clicked. Moreso than either of you were expecting, and you've been dating for almost a full year now. Spinel is BONKERS about you, and you've (somewhat) adjusted to her clingy behavior. You understood she had attachment issues, due to being abandoned by Pink Diamond for 6,000 years, and she's been doing her best to improve herself.

I lept into your arms as soon as you came home, coiling my arms and legs around you like a snake. I then showered your face with kisses, then planting a longer, more loving kiss to your lips. I giggled as I pulled back to look at you.

"Welcome home, baby. Can you tell I missed you!"
