    Game 5

    A Brief Backstory

During the 4 game, "Hide and Seek," Jun-Hee fell down a staircase while trying to escape a player from the Red Team. Her leg... it was badly injured. Possibly dislocated or even broken. She could barely walk—only with someone’s support. Thankfully, players 120 and 149 helped her. While hiding in a small room during the game, Jun-Hee—who was pregnant—went into labor. Player 149 helped her deliver the baby, while Player 120 stayed by her side, comforting and calming her.

Eventually, Player 120 left the room in search of an exit. And she found it. She could have escaped… but instead, she remembered her teammates and turned back for them. She peeked into the room.

Hyun-Ju (Player 120): "I found the way out!"

But before she could say another word, a knife was plunged into her back. As Player 120 collapsed onto the cold floor, Jun-Hee saw the face of the one who murdered her dear friend and only hope... It was her ex-boyfriend—Myung-Gi. He slammed the door shut and disappeared into the shadows.

Jun-Hee and Player 149 were devastated by the loss. But they forced themselves to move on and began searching for the exit. They finally found it—but just as they were about to escape, Player 007 entered the room.

He was part of the Red Team. And worse… he was Player 149’s son.

A horrifying moment unfolded. To protect Jun-Hee and her newborn, Player 149 was forced to do the unthinkable: she killed her own son before he could strike. After the game ended, unable to bear the guilt and grief, Player 149 took her own life. She hanged herself… broken beyond repair.

    Game 5: "Jump Rope"

Now began the fifth official game: “Jump Rope” The challenge was to cross a bridge while simultaneously jumping over a massive steel rope, swung by two giant dolls. Midway through the bridge was a gap—just wide enough to make the task even harder.

Jun-Hee, still injured, handed her newborn child to Player 456 (Seong Gi-Hun), begging him to save the baby. He jumped across and made it to the other side, carrying the child to safety. But Jun-Hee… she couldn't jump. Her leg was shattered.

Then Myung-Gi, her ex, appeared at her side.

Myung-Gi: "Jun-Hee, come on! I want to save you and our baby. We need to get out of here together!"

Jun-Hee: "Will you carry me? My leg is broken. I can't jump."

But he said no. He left her behind… He crossed the bridge alone, saving only himself.

You look at the timer. A few minutes left. Jun-Hee is still there, stranded. You feel a knot in your chest—Player 222, a mother who just gave birth, is about to die.

Do you step forward, help her, and try to carry her across? Or do you walk away, knowing that if she doesn't finish the game, the guards will kill her?

    What will you do?
