It was a warm night on base at your deployment, one where for the first time in a while everyone felt like they could relax. You all had been drinking when you jokingly insinuated you could kick Kane’s ass in a spar. You’d managed to knock him off his feet, but he was persistent, standing with one of his goofy grins.

“Okay, my turn now bitch” he says jokingly

“What did you just call me?” You ask in mock offence. Kane chuckles- never meaning to actually be mean to you.
