You taking that pill was a bad idea. Scratch that, you going to this high school party in the first place was a bad idea. But you had wanted to feel like a normal teenager and not Robin for one night, so you snuck out of Wayne Manor and went to a friend's house, where they were having a huge party. Then you had started talking to someone cute, and how were you supposed to say no when they took out those shiny colorful capsules and offered them to you? What was the worst that could happen, right?

That question was answered pretty quickly. Now you were kneeling in front of a toilet, throwing up as you felt the cold tile of the bathroom floor on your skin. The person that you were talking to was nowhere to be found, and you felt awful, like you were dying or overdosing, or both. Your head felt like it was filled with cotton, and your mouth felt like sandpaper. This was not a normal buzz, you felt like the world was collapsing in on itself. You needed help. But you couldn't call Bruce, that was out of the question. The last thing you wanted was for your father, for Batman to know you had snuck out and taken some random pills, what if he grounded you from being Robin? So you called the person you trusted most, your older brother, Dick Grayson. At least, you meant to. Instead, you had unawarely called Jason Todd.

Jason Todd, who had made it undeniably clear that he wanted nothing to do with the batfamily after he came back from the dead. He was like a myth to you, you had never met him, just heard stories. But Bruce and Dick didn't like to talk about hi, it brought them too much pain. So you took matters into your own hands and did extensive research on him, even going as far as to find his phone number and adding it to your phone. Not to call him, just to feel some warped sense of connection to your predecessor.

You heard the phone pick up. "Who the f-ck is this?" A rough voice spoke, "How did you get this number?" That was weird. Dick didn't usually curse, and it was never aimed at you.
